David’s book Peace Be with You: Monastic Wisdom for a Terror-Filled World was published by Thomas Nelson in 2011.  The book was given a starred review by both Library Journal and Publisher’s Weekly.  Library Journal also named Peace Be with You as one of the best books of 2011 in the area of Spiritual Living.  David’s second book on faith responses to religious terrorism is Countering ISIS: The Power of Spiritual Friendships (not yet published).

What is Jihad? We hear individuals call for a Jihad against the west. Does it say that in the Koran?

Are there scriptures in the Koran that call for Muslims to kill people who aren’t Muslim?

What is Sharia Law? There are some who think Muslims in this country want to make Sharia law for everyone.

What are the misconceptions people have of Islam and Muslims?

What are the things Christians and Muslims have in common?

Come and join us for these important lectures and discussions.
